Hello guys...
For those who are going for Marina's wedding, this is something she told me when I RSVP with her.
She said that the afternoon session (2 to 5pm) will be slightly more traditional. And after 5.30, it will be a western theme. It sounds like we can choose which "shift" we wanna attend.
So I'm trying to find out which timing most people are going. Cos after all, it's a good chance to meet up with the rest of the people. Can someone find out from the other people (ie Eugene they all, I dunno who else is invited) what time they are going?
So far, Yenfang and I are flexible and will go with majority and Steph prefers afternoon.

Omg, this blog has been dusty since the start of Year 2009~ How can that be?!?
Anyway, found out from Mak yesterday that majority of you will finish exam on 29-Apr, but Jian and Lun have got attachment during the 3-months break? I was thinking of a gathering.
Refer to the below for more details:
Date: 15-May-09 (Fri Night) - Mak said i planned too early and it's very kua zhang, but i think i need to book you busy people in advance to get a good attendance.
Venue: Dinner @ somewhere and somewhere after dinner for chit-chatting session. - Let's not go for ktv again, since we can't really catch up with one another during the session. And, no gambling! Hahaha.
Time: 6.30pm (Depend on individual anyway) Till late night...anytime we can stay till!
Hey wait! I suddenly thought of another idea. Night Cycling? Hahaha. Anyone? Okok, i know this gang's preference. MCQs!
Option A:
Dinner and Chit-Chatting Session after that.
Option B:
Ktv, if some of you really miss it and want it so badly.
Option C:
Night Cycling! @ East Coast?
Option D:
Open to all. Remember to suggest if you choose this option.
And anyway, i thought of another date for another program if most of you can make it.
Option E:
Date: 16-May (Saturday)
Venue: Sentosa!
What to do: WHAT ELSE???
Alright, pls tag your replies on the tagboard! (:

Sentosa & KTV
We very long never go see the sun, sand and sea together liao. And also quite long never sing songs together. Can give shiyin a chance to practice singing chinese new year songs also. Also, yirong rarely got free time on a weekday (that hardworking girl...)
So far, response quite good. Some I am putting up some rough outline what should take place...
Date: 2 Jan 2009, Friday
Venue: Sentosa, then KTV*
Time: 1000H at harbour front. KTV around 1900H, venue undecided yet. (Need suggestions!)
*If KTV is not possible, we can switch to Operation "PURR". *wink* (Also need venue!)
Den, bring cards. I will bring frisbee, volleyball. Huijie, bring your brand new Dolby Surround 4.8 Home Theatre System and some songs... ;) Anything else we need?
1. Chay
2. Mak
3. Shiyin

Gift Exchange
Now that the date is mostly set to be 19th Dec (Friday), that just means that you have 3 effective days left for shopping... I would think that with years of experience doing gift exchanges in this gang, we should all know roughly what are the "expectations" of a "proper" gift. Nonetheless, here are some guidelines...
1. Unisex. The gift should be suitable for a guy or a girl recipient. Means no undergarment or pink earphones or bright purple butterfly-shaped hairclip... That will also mean no suggestive items - I have personally received a wooden sculpture in the shape of a dick (ah, yes... the man's reproductive organ) in a lucky draw gift exchange 2 years ago with an all male group. I swear I won't be too amused if it went to my girlfriend.
2. No food. Nothing along the line of edible items. Means no chocolates or candies or peanuts... Drinks should be okay? I do think a bottle of wine makes a fantastic gift. I don't think people will be giving $19.90 worth of Coca-Cola as presents...
3. Budget for the gift ranges from SGD 15.00 and above.
4. Wrap the gift. An unwrapped present is simply rude, plus the fact that the lucky draw will want some suspense involved. If possible, make it difficult to guess whats your gift. And so, you should also try to get your present alone or with non-members of this organisation.
Yirong has volunteered to plan for games, so any ideas regarding games, go to her. I have a feeling "Murderer" is going to be part of the programme already... Haha! Meanwhile, Chay will send out a SMS to confirm the date and time soon. If you don't receive any, means you are not invited! ............................................ Haha! No lah.. Just means that Chay is too busy and might have forgot about you. In that case, give me an sms and I will feed you the information.
