End of year

Have been raining the past few days and it is a sign that the year is coming to an end.

All the sec sch kids will be planning how to spend their holidays.

My cca also plan some stuff for the cadets almost every year.

Lets go back to 6 years ago, in the year 1999



We got an unit outing day in bukit timah hill during the last week of the holidays. Of course everyone is excited about it as it is fresh activity away from the routine training.

Everyone is ordered to bring a poncho. But i couldnt find it anywhere in the house or shops near my house. I was left with 2 choices, bring a bright YELLOW colour raincoat use by those young kawaii kids in those jap sch or dun bring at all. Out of desperation i dump that rain coat into my bag hoping that it wun rain.

Guess i was unlucky that day, it started to drizzle that morning and we were ordered to wear our rain coat.

Suay lor, no choicebut to put that on. No one said anything, but i know i am very very very prominent. Hundred over people covered in green camouflaging in the hill and i am the ultra extra which stand out in YELLOW. If the bees are disturbed that day, i think everyone will be safe as i will be the target. I dun mind wearing that if i am a cute small size sec one cadet but at that time i am already quite big reaching 170. Feel like the duck in Su huilun song Ya Zi.

The trip is fun and relax but when we arrive in sch at the end of the outing, the instructors punish upside down in the scorching sun. Apparantly some sec 2 cadet suan the RV people hiking over there and his actions spoil our sch name. Such an anti climax ending.


Bring you back to a nearer date, 2001

Back to same place again but with a different role. WE ARE NOW THE INSTRUCTORS HAA HAA. But with great power comes great responsibility. This time round we are to plan for everything. Had quite a few items to prepare before the outing. Alex and i had to go to down to prime mart to get waffles for everyone the nite ( Prove to be a succcessful idea as every pic taken is with at least someone eating it). Oh ya, someone forget to pack the first aid kit hor, who ar?

Quite a success outing considering our inexperience in planning such activity.

Interesting to note that a cadet reported that he wanted to pee very badly when we reach the peak. No public toilet at the top so i recommanded he return back to base to relief himself. Duno what happen to him. I was hoping that he will do it in the back of the tree so that i can take a candid shot.

Back to the present, going for a unit outing this time and i will have a different role to play. It will be plan by my xiao didi and his kah kia. Didnt involve much but will check if he is doing it right.

Heard that it will be a camp, BBQ dinner the nite before and lunch catered for them after the east coast outing that morning. EAST COAST, i repeat is EAST COAST no longer bukit timah hill. Life is so different from last time.



Jia Yuan ar, you are really obsess with miss sheh, dun sink in too deep into the hole, if not cannot pull out. Must be watching too much of her in that nurse show. Uniform fetish? Try to watch serial where she play a evil character then you will be will utterly turn off. Aussie dun have her TV serial leh only got kangaroo and warner bros. You need anyone to send you off when you depart?

Almost forgot, the unit outing as mention above will be from this fri to sat, so i will be rather late on that afternoon. I will be going to sentosa directly from east coast( time for my 1 star kayak to put into good use). Sorry for the inconvenience cause.
