East Coast Park

Blessed by a rare sunny and breezy day, and the rare availability of my dad's van, I must say the East Coast trip was a success. My own greatest satisfaction was the sun tanning and the good chatting session at Coffee Bean. It was a good weekend and if all goes well, there should be a dinner gathering and a sentosa trip coming up... Below are some of the memories taken from my phone - Shiyin has the bulk of the photos.

Director Mak tries to do a "Lovers Re-unite At The Beach" scene.

Candid shot: No idea when this was taken but with Jon scratching his crotch, HJ digging his ears and myself looking constipated... you probably won't want to know what we are talking about.
I brought along my kite and frisbee. Wind was good for kite flying and Shiyin took the chance to relish her childhood days. Jon had the honour of reeling in the kite after that, and it took him 15 minutes to do so.
Lunch at C.Nai cafe.

HJ showing off his biceps while holding on to the kite in the "strong, tornardo-hurricane-typhoon wind" at East Coast.
Den reinforces the point - wind was damn strong.

Jon said he was going to put this photo on facebook and label it as "my kite". If he don't give me acknowledgement for using my kite, I will sue him until he become like Lehman Brothers.

Jon took this photo when I wasn't ready. I don't usually twist my ass to one side when taking photos.

F4 self-shoot.
Jon keep insisting that Den and I stand a few steps below him and let him stand on the top.
Still...

No More Chalets Available

Bad news.

No chalets available. No downtown east, no aloha changi, no aloha loyang, no SAFRA pasir ris... Almost everything is booked up in the month of December.

I think we planned too late.

I haven't check the Bukit Gombak CDANS for their availability, but I think we will keep that as a last resort. Some suggestions that were heard: Go Bangkok, go climb Mt. Ophir, go on a cruise, go Sentosa.

HJ just came off a cruise in October this year and is resisting the idea of a cruise. M.Jay don't want a shopping trip and with the violence in Thailand in mind, is resisting the idea of Bangkok. Lun, with safety in mind, is resisting the Mt. Ophir idea. J.Lim suggested the Sentosa, no strong resistance from anyone - but I think that would have to be a day event because the campsite is no longer in existence.

We need ideas, people.
