unavoidable stuff. back injury is gettin better though. so shld be okie bah. been restin a lot last week. but it seems like back injury will affect u foreva. sometimes the pain comes on n off. jus keep prayin for mi bah! hopefully i can get better~~

Boring weekend
Boring weekend.
SIAN!!!!
Had these strange dreams recently, a reflections of events and emotions that surrounds me.
BUT, nothing beats the upcoming outing that we going to have. UBIN CAMPING TRIP!!!
Now, we are face with 3 problems.
1) Lodging
Solution.
a) Invest in a few tents so that we wun have this problem next time.
b) Borrow from friends and families.
c) Book a chalet at ubin.
d) Build bashas with simple ponchos and twines in the middle of trees.
2) Weather
Solution
a) No solution, have to pack up and go home.
3) Attendance
a) No need to pack up, just cancel or postpone the whole outing.
Activites for the whole day will include
1)Cycling
2)Pinic
3)Stargazing
4)Campfire
5)Night walk
The most important thing next is to set a date.
Is 23rd July 2005 ok with anyone.

Day 2 of Ubin camp.
Woke up at 5 am plus plus after just 3 hrs plus of sleep. Wash up, comb abit of hair and sat at the bench going thru the lesson plan that i will be doing today.
After the PT, the campers had their breakfast and the instructors were gathered for a briefing. It was during the briefing that one of my senior warn us about some dangers that he found when he was out for a recce to look out for possible dangerous spots.
" Be careful when you go out of the gate, cause i saw 2 dogs making out just now and when i try to chase them away, they were quite aggresive."
MAKING OUT!!! Wha liao, dogs make out and we no choice have to disturb them. How would you feel if you were making out one day and someone want to use the place??
Point taken and we left off with to the training shed with our maps, compass and com set.

"Yah lo... When is our next outing?" Everyone also know how to say. But who's going to organise? No one wants to but we all want to meet up. Yet we are all so busy. Don't you think its kind of contradicting?
If Rong nv mention, I had already forgotten. Jian told me and Chay at Bojangles that he is going to write a super long entry since now he knows how to blog le. Right Chay? Where is it huh? In the air ah? Haiz.. but hard on him lah. Messages like that will most prob need to be related by Xue'e also. Hah. Maybe Xue'e can help him tell us how he has been lah. Haha...

I'm back after so long.
Hey peepz! I'm back after so long.
How have you guys been? I really do miss u pple alot ALOT... waiting for e day we gather & play again. Sorry for nt being able to blog for so long... was rlly busy... busy till i forgot to care for those pple ard me. No matter how busy i am, you guys are always on my mind! =)
Anyway, there might be one bad news. The 24th initial D, i might be limited to only few tics... i shall cfm again & tell u all.

hahaha.. sorry about the long time no post.. i was just too preoccupied with work to type anything meaningful.. so i just didn't.. hahaha.. i mean, its better to type something good, with substance, than to just anyhow type something for the sake of typing eh? yeah..
so, CYC, u just came back from ATC? or izzit CII Course? wah.. but no matter wat, its been a long time since i went ubin.. and i miss the place!! we should go one day.. hahaha! yeah one day... haha.. and u still remembered the chalet and peg's bday? cool.. nice and sweet guy huh u.. hahaha.. wun be surprised if yirong falls for u now..
oh yar.. yirong, thanks for missing me.. hahaha.. or rather, my famous "Do You Know".. haha.. im sorry man.. you will miss it more now.. hahaha.. this could be the last entry from me in the next few weeks.. hahaha... well.. i will tell u the reason later.. haha
hmm.. shiyin, just wanna let u know that im not angry wif u or blaming u for anything.. just that, maybe u should think it over properly.. plan your move very carefully now coz i dun wanna see u trapped in a bottomless pit forever.. haha.. nevertheless, dun force me into it.. its against my principle.. take it that im weird, but i wun do such things.. i will keep my promise and not tell anyone but u must promise me that u muz be honest to ur friends, especially this gang.. and please.. next time, dun ask jie ying to try stunts on me.. shes not skilled enuf..

lately, i have been waiting for my Medical.. still.. hahaha.. and june 20th, which is next monday.. is a post out day.. meaning i will still be waiting and pending my medical, but in somewhere else instead of CMPB.. hahaha.. that means no more 8 to 5, no more office, no more air-con, no more slacking.. today, i got the posting order.. im going to the Officer Cadet School.. hahaha.. im quite happy ar! finally.. some action, and some sweating now.. so guys, guess im back to my NS life, no more outings and life out there liao..
on the tuesday, i went night cycling with my army friends.. very very very very fun!!! unforgettable experience.. check this out..
start off at hougang at about 8.30pm, went ang mo kio for dinner, then we travel all the way to Sembawang to explore an abandoned hospital.. defintely not for the faint hearted.. we reached the hospital at 11.30pm and went in.. holy shit.. think its the wonderful publicity of Batman Begins, the place was infested with bats!!! though i know bats in singapore are quite harmless and wun attack humans, but a bat's scratch or bite can lead to infection or worse - rabbies! rabbies is an infection of the brain that can lead to fatality if uncured.. hmm.. we disturbed a little family of bats, unintentionally.. then we realise we need to go stealth mode, and put our NS skills into action.. THEN.. we found two stalk of fresh rose in one of the rooms.. damn! we were spooked out! the roses seem fresh and recent and could not be more than 2days old.. scary shit.. then we also saw a baby monitor lizard!! damn cool.. but it can run very very fast, so after a while, it disappeared.. then somewhere in the compound, a cat was mewing and mewing but we couldn't find the cat at all!! we tried to locate it by the source of the sound and ended up looking at a mirror.. strangely, the sound seems to be coming from inside the mirror! and the mirror was dead fixed to a wall.. imagine all this exploration.. in the middle of a windy night, in the middle of a small forest, in a HOSPITAL (people die there) and without light, just torch light... wahhh... cool.. and there were only 3 of us altogether.. what an experience!!!
hmm.. so after that, we proceed on to Kranji War Memorial.. A war cemetary to honour the dead in World War II.. But sadly, it was closed.. so we din get to go in.. but the route to the entrance was scary enuf liao.. cut through a small forest trail.. super Ulu.. hahaha..
Then, we went on to Holland V, via Woodlands Road - pass Ten Mile - Bukit Timah - Clementi... There we ate a relatively famous curry puffs, which i dun find special at all.. haha.. then we went onto Tanglin and reached Orchard Road.. Whoa.. Orchard at night also damn Ulu, we cycled on the pavement like nobody's business!! (usually we cycle on the road - AND I ALMOST DIED) haha.. yar, anyway, so we went to this new hawker center in Orchard Road, just after somerset station and had Zui Quay and Satays... Erm.., not nice and super Expensive! tsk tsk.. they also sell a $1.20 Bandung that is like bandung without rose syrup and milk.. meaning super DILUTED!!
after that, we went to geylang.. and had the all time favourite TAU HUAY!! hahaha! that was the best part of the journey.. we had prostitutes trying to "hook" us also.. haha.. tell u, if u ever catch me visiting a pro, may lightning strike me dead! haha.. disgusting..
and after that, we went back to hougang via serangoon and had a few pratas along the way.. hahaha! great expereince.. and also great pain surging through the whole body after that...
conclusion.. singapore's road, although smooth and clean, can be highly dangerous and tiring on a bike.. dangerous due to many inconsiderate, selfish and piggified drivers (expecially taxi drivers), that wun give way to cyclist!!! Those %@!!#^@&& zoom past u so near u that u can feel your bike lifted off the ground for a while!!! They wun give way, even when we complied with cyclists's rules to show hand signals and follow traffic regulations for bikers.. we did research on it k.. somemore, in the group, there was a professional road biker, used to be in SAJC's ODAC... however, each one of us got into an accident once. hahaha.. and all involved taxis! damn..
i was the first one to crash.. cycling in a single file, i was holding the rear.. we were cycling at a pretty fast speed, somemore the road was slightly downhill.. then the first guy changed lane and moved out to the right.. i saw and prepared myself to follow suit after the second guy infront of me.. the second guy checked the traffic behind and changed lane.. and now it was my turn! i turned my head back to my right to check for traffic, seeing it was clear of cars, i prepared to change lane.... now, imagine this in slow motion ( like Matrix style) : I turn my head back to the front, tightening the grip on my handle bars as i pushed my legs to pump the pedals for an acceleration to keep up with my friends... my eyes widen in horror as i realise the boot of a big fat yellow city cab right infront of me!!! damn! In that moment, i realise the reason why my friends needed to change lane.. i realise why my friends had a need to accelerate.. and i realise.... that i was F-ing hell gonna crash.......
with no time to turn away or brake, i braced myself for the impact! the hollow boot connected with my bike to create a big "BORRRG!" sound.. i find myself sprawled onto the taxi's little ass.. my upper half of the body on the rear windscreen and my legs on the boot.. like i was sleeping on the top of the taxi like tat.. kauz..
the taxi driver stopped to pick up a passenger!! damn it! the passenger was nice lah, helped me pick up my bike.. but the pig driver came out and wanted to scold me.. wah.. i only heard him say, "Wah lau.. ni meng da zjiang kuai!..." before he can say anymore, i said, " F lah.. sorry sorry sorry.." and i cycled off to my friends waiting in front of me.. luckily my bike was damaged, and my body wasn't damaged also!! hahaha.. but it was fun!!

feel kinda guilty. din really got the time to blog therefore can onli wish u now. erm, my frenz tink i am immunocompromise, which means that my immune system got sum part deficient. coz i got sick 2 times in 3 wks. i dunno y, mabbi i am juz SICKENING. exam are not here yet, but test will start nxt wk, tings here are kinda getting interesting den my 1st 2 yr in poly. In this module call Hybridoma technology, we get to culture skin cancer cells and feed, sing, sayang dem everydae. In this module call Agrotechnology, we get to grow xiao bai cai,small white veggie in hydroponic system n sayang dem everydae, i tink kss last time also always boost bout their hydroponic tingy.

everyone reached at 8 to do prac, den i dunno wat happen to me, the VERY 1st step of the protocol, i SCREW it up le. coz we centrifuge this sheep red bld cells, den should throw awae the upper part(supernatant). i dunno wat was i tinking, i juz dip my micropipette in n start throwing awae the redbloodcell(RBC) part, which is the part we need! den my whole grp juz stare at me and finally sum1 open his mouth n ask me wat am i doing. they all tot i was possessed but wat done is done, so everyone started wif 10 ml of RBC but mine was 2.5ml. there was no more xtra sheep RBC.. so we juz carried on. poor sheep eh. den do do do, in the end my error won us the lead over the other grp, difficult to explain y we were faster, but it has to do wif the less cells involve. After we discovered my error has actually solve the most difficult part of the expt. coz everyone have to dilute their cells at this stage, but my cells are juz nice in tat concentration, everyone in my grp changed their expression n pat me in the back. u see, tings change when u contribute.

In this module call Hybridoma technology, we get to culture skin cancer cells and feed, sing, sayang dem everydae. In this module call Agrotechnology, we get to grow xiao bai cai,small white veggie in hydroponic system n sayang dem everydae, i tink kss last time also always boost bout their hydroponic tingy.

Back from oversea training.
Finally back to singapore mainland.
Shall write about what happen for the three days of camp.
1st day
Lecture ended around 5 and i rush down to changi jetty to take a bum boat. The journey took more than 1.5 hrs. Dover -> Tampiness -> Changi Jetty. So ma fan. No choice, we students are always short of cash. Had a plate of chicken rice at changi village before heading down to the jetty. By the time i reach the jetty, it is already 7 plus and the sky is almost dark. Was told by the boatman that the wun be anyone who will want to go to ubin at that time. Either i pay $24 to book the whole boat or wait for the other people to fill up the vacancy. As a poor man with $10 in my wallet, i got no choice but to wait. :( So i went to the toilet to change into my uniform and when i came out, i saw a couple waiting by the boat and we hire the boat together each paying $8 :s.
Reach the island and the sky is already pitch dark. So how? No street lights, no taxi and no bicycle. No choice lor, took out my 12 bulb LED torchlight and began my night walk across the island. For those in the cca, you will know that it is a gruelling hike through the uneven terrain, dense trees and is filled with strange and oversize creepy crawlies. Scary right? I will have to walk thru this kind of land alone in the dark and the the visiblity drops to 2 m, more than that you will need to shine your torchlight more than 45 degrees which is not advisible . If you think that sentosa night walk that we have last time is scary, this is even worse. Dogs will frequently appear and when you shine the torch nearer, you can see that their eyes will reflect a eerie white light back and they will bark and then run away. It doesnt help when nearby dogs are howling. Finally can understand the phrase "cold shiver down my spine". It is that scary.
After a 2o mins walk, in the middle of the dense pavement covered with tree branches, i could faintly make out 3 white figure floating around. I didnt point my torch at them for fear that they may be "good brothers"but i ask "who is there".
Guess what is the reply???
"Eh, you finally here. Can help me station at this junction, no enough manpower"

Considering the risk of night walk that the campers may encounter. I stayed behind and look after the junction.
The whole activity ended within the next 30 mins and i walk back to the campsite with the whole groups of campers. Put down my barang barang at the dorm and carried on with the next activity.

Still remember we were at the chalet in downtown east celebrating pegs birthday. Turning off the lights and looking thru the cracks of the curtain, to see if she is back from her netball event and giving her surprise birthday cake filled with lighted candles.
Time flies and the only thing that stay is memories.

OK, to answer your question, I didn't really have a good day. Haha! See my blog for details lah. But yah, I reached home safe and sound. He didn't touch even a strand of my hair. haha! You so mean lah, say until like that. BTW, I didn't even notice his car plate number. Haha...! So, yah... I was safe and sound. Even if something happened to me, its kind of late that you are only asking now right? Haha! And you mean you don't know what is TULIPS? haha. You really don't know or read wrongly or what?
Yu, I'm free on the 19th. Supposed to go out with chanchoz but cancelled le cos its Father's day. I would like to go down to support if anyone of you all would like to go with me. Hee. Then we can go experience some GSS again!! haha. And it will also mean burning our pockets. Haah! Tell us about the time n stuff k? In the meantime, take care of that back. I can teach you some back-strengthening exercises that my coach taught me. My back used to hurt so much after a game that I can't sleep.

Insomnia
Just play thru my brother friendster and came across someone who i dear alot and is also happily attached.
Still remember 2 years on this day 13th june, i was preparing embark on a four day camp in Ubin. Sleepless night, as usual, i open up my wallet to look at the neo card that we (8 of us ) took in far east. Although didnt help me to sleep, at least it got rid of my anxiety.
First nite, i was assign to do a 2 hour sentry in the middle of the night (2 - 4). This is what we refer to as the "suay" slot as people doing this will not be able to get enough quality sleep. By the time you reach into your deep sleep within the next one hour plus, you will get a kick in the leg to inform you that it is your turn for sentry duty.
Although i couldnt get enough sleep, it will be nice to know that i will be freshen up by just opening up my wallet, shine a torch on it and looking at her smiling.
That is the most heavenly thing that could happen at that moment, knowing that i could ask her out and see her after my whole course is over.
Going back to the same place again with a different role. I still have the neo card with me, but i can no longer hope that i will be able to ask her out again.
Shit, no more motivation to move on.
Sad and depress.

And your procedures are so little and easy compared to those foreigners who needs to apply student's pass and stuff. So I'm saying it for the last time "YOU ARE MOST WELCOME" and please don't make me say it again. =) I have sent out the forms n stuff le. Together with the $52.50 cheque. But I wanna remind you that its not confirmed that you are accepted. They will get back to you and send you some Letter of Offer or something like that one.

So probably that sparked her to ask Megaa to do that cos she somehow feel that you came down cos Megaa wants you to. Hah! I feel quite bad that she did that and I'm somehow the one who caused her to waste about $20 on YOU . Whahaha..! Although you gained in the whole thingy but I'm sure you don't feel good too, right? Dun Worry
Seems that everyone is busy with their own stuff. So, pls people, try to attend gathering as much as possible ( for the full duration of the activities).
BUT DUN WORRY. The next activity will be a camping trip to the largest island in singapore. No need to pay expensive air tix, no need to settle with immigration just a short bum boat ride across the changi jetty and we will be travel back in time to the kampong days of singapore. Activities will include cycling, swimming, fishing, field cooking and star gazing. It will start from sat late morning/afternoon to sunday morning.
More details will be updated after i come back from my ATC (NPCC Camp). I believe if i give 2 weeks notice, most of you will be able to reply with the next 3 days right?
The activity may be cancel due to the following reason.
1. Bad weathering
2. Bad attendance ( less than 7 )
3. Other unforeseeable situation where our safety may be compromise.
So lets hope that the attendance will be good and the weather will be kind to us.

Sick
hi guys, been sick for last wk, the first wk of sch. normal fever n stuff but i'm alrite now. haha, wei so sorry cant go for CS supposely held todae, din wan to pass my super-infectious-diease to anymore ppl.
my class consist of 20 person, i tink 19 of dem all got fever. no kiding, and i am the SUPER-BUG. coz i went to sch wif a recovering body on wenesdae and on thursdae half of class got fever, fridae almost everyone got it. Not only my class got it, i tink it also spread across my buddy class and sum ppl in med tech. In addition to that, my bro, my girl Also got my bug. so if u guys see me on the streets, better cover ur mouth and run awae. dun tink i can go on a holidae now :), sch. dun even tink i have holidaes animore, Final Yr Project :). juz hope that can get together sum daes for a few hr of CS, i am sastified.

I checked JetStarAsia. They have a mid week promotion to Bangkok now. If we fly on Tues, Wed and Thurs, the fare is only S$28+++ Plus everything only about S$130 per person. So damn cheap! So I think S$500 each person is more than enough to cover airfare, accomodation and expenses le. But then I think its hard for us to catch this deal lah. Cos has to be mid week. You all schooling le. Unless you all can take 3 days MC or something like that. Hah! NS men, interested to take 3 days leave? Hahaha.

Oh well, I have been trying my best not to visit the business centre in the hotel for 2 simple reasons. First, before I went on this trip, I thought of trying a life of 1 week no computer (which also means internet) and handphone. But yah, I was contactable through my HP cos I brought it along for any emergencies or big news from Singapore. One good example would be the birth of my cousin! My Aunt in Perth has given birth to a fat baby boy who weighs 8 pounds. Wahaha~! And also, Barbie has given birth to 6 pups. Keke. Barbie is my Dad's dog. So my family now xi shi lian lian ah. Are you all itching to see the pups? Esp Mak and Lun. I haven seen them myself too. Haha. And back to my reasons, secondly, the charges for internet facilities in the hotel are damn ex.
Its past midnight now. I have just reached hostel about an hour ago. No jet lags or whatsoever but I just can't sleep. Probably too excited to be back in Singapore. And I really miss you all. Haha! Count me in for Dancical and Initial D. Mr Roland Tan did ask me to help him promote the dancical. But I guess Mak and Chay are doing the job for me la. Haha. Thanks!!

Yu! I didn't buy liquor for you cos my flight is very late and I didnt want to keep my grandpa waiting outside. I wanted to buy perfume but end up didn't buy also. SO sorry. But I bought a top for you which I personally like alot and I think it suits you. =) I think I took the same CX flight as you did the other time. Reached at 11 plus.
Tell you all something to make you all jealous! Haha! My flight to HK was full and thus me and my grandma were upgraded to Business class when we only paid for Economy price. Damn shiok can! After sitting the cheapo, damn cramp budget airline for the previous trips, the business class seats were simply amazing man! esp for long leggers like me! Haha! Really feel like a taitai. Shiok! But yah lah, next time Mak will come and tell us how it feels like to be seated at the very front of the airplane liao la. Haha. But also because of the business class, my return trip felt like I was going to suffocate from the economy class. Guess its always more of a comparison than an absolute thingy, isn't it?
I know you all gonna ask me about presents. I'm so sorry GUYS. Although I said I will buy things for those who haven't received any stuff from me from my previous trips (which excludes Lun =) ), I really didn't this time. Like what Yu said the other time, things in HK are not cheap. I went to Shantou, China too cos my ahma wanted to visit folks in countryside. But the stuff there are quite obiang, although dirt cheap. SO I didn't buy also. Really dui bu qi.
But then, I bought stuff for the girls. Hehe. I am not biased hor. Its really easier to shop for girl's stuff mah.
You know I have always been dreaming of going overseas with friends. It almost came true with my other friends beginning of the year but still it didn't go on smoothly. I really really hope that we can travel together lah. I know its the money lah. But I was just saying that I really really want to. But I have no suggesttions other than to ask you all to rob. Haha. I wanted to say save but reading Mak's entry of "I don't know", I doubt the saving plan will work. And you all NS men how to have such long leave to go travel. Haiz... Yu, Yin, Rong, Mui, we girls go on shopping spree hao ma? Bangkok, KL, Taipei, HK, all can. Haha. Although I'm sick of shopping lah. But I believe it will be different with friends. Revenge of the rubber band shooter
DISGUSTING INSECTS AARRRGGGG!!!!!!!!!
Our home has suddenly turn into their mating ground.
While i was playing my PS2 this morning, a flying cockroach the size of my two thumbs flew and kamikaze into the TV screen.
Disgusting i tell you. Insanely disgusting.
The cockroach keeps on flapping its wings and making that "bzzzzzzz" sound.
Shit. No more insecticides left in the house.
I ran to the kitchen to grab a shirt ( i wasnt wearing any shirt at that moment, sg is so humid) and a handful of rubber band.
Time to practice my marksmanship. HO HO!!!
Shoot out 4 bands before it its the target. The band went "tiak".
It hit the cockroach, but it just fell down to the floor.
Alive and kicking.
No choice, have to seek refuge to my room and blogging right now . :s
So pls gangsters, arm yourself with insecticides pls dun hesitate to use it on any of those disgusting creatures.
P.S. If anyone think i am acting like a gu niang, pls dun. I just dun want to let the insect die in such a violent death. "Cracking" sound when you hit it with a newspaper isnt very pleasant to listen and the amount of cleaning you have to do is just not worth it. So i just resort to insecticides to paralyse it and set it off back to the nature.

CYC, wah.. insomia can be a big problem leh.. i recommend you to go see a chinese physician and find the root of the problem.. if you want, you can try to come Woodlands, Blk 166 there got one chinese medicine shop thats quite good.. my uncle is going there for treatment for his insomia also.. and he says got some improvement and he feels healthier.. its near Marsiling MRT, if u wanna come can just give me a call..
Suddenly recall the time when we had BBQ at Teck Whye Garden.. haha.. must be due to seeing Xuan Chong's tag ar.. haha.. think the basketball game after the BBQ was the best part of the outing.. we must have more such games in future ar! haha..

CYC, wah.. insomia can be a big problem leh.. i recommend you to go see a chinese physician and find the root of the problem.. if you want, you can try to come Woodlands, Blk 166 there got one chinese medicine shop thats quite good.. my uncle is going there for treatment for his insomia also.. and he says got some improvement and he feels healthier.. its near Marsiling MRT, if u wanna come can just give me a call..
Suddenly recall the time when we had BBQ at Teck Whye Garden.. haha.. must be due to seeing Xuan Chong's tag ar.. haha.. think the basketball game after the BBQ was the best part of the outing.. we must have more such games in future ar! haha..
Haha.. today i shall do something different for a change.. after writing quite a few issues of "Do You Know", i shall stop behaving like i know everything and sound like a professor.. haha! there are still many things i do not understand in this world and now, i am gonna suggest a brilliant idea.. I am also gonna start another issue call "I Don't Know..." haha.. and this section will run alternately with "Do You Know", meaning one post will be the former and the next post will be the latter and so on...
haha.. and the "I Don't Know" shall be a channel where i will ask things that i do not know or understand.. and hopefully you people can help me answer, or maybe our readers can tag their response or comments also.. so, while i share my knowledge with you all, i can also get more knowledge! haha.. its a win-win situation! and here i go, with my first posting of...
I DON'T KNOW.. why i just don't seem to be able to save money?!?! haha.. everytime when pay day comes, my money seems to be gone in a flash.. sometimes even so when i don't go for major entertainment like movies or clubbing.. i don't know where is the leak and how best to control it without being a sua gu that stays at home without going out.. hahah! Grr.. how am i suppose to save for my university, my car, my driving lessons and my house?!?! hahaha.. any bright spark here with some talent in accounting or money management please advice me..

Heyhey!
Today I got off-day from camp, haha.. because i have to go to Tan Tock Seng for a body check-up! Thats why I can post a message here at this time of the day! And the weather now is very shuang, rainy and cloudy.. best for sleeping ar! Haiyah, now im feeling very guilty, people NS i also NS, but why is my NS so slack now?? haha..
Shiyin, i must say your riddle getting a bit sub-standard liao.. haha.. really not very challenging le, unlike the first few you asked.. haha.. go and research for tougher questions lah.. well, i guess the answer to the bus riddle is that, there isn't A SINGLE PERSON, because there is A BUSLOAD OF PEOPLE left in the bus.. right? its just the playing of words and the phrasing of the question... haha..
haiyah, crazy lah chay.. blog where got politically correct or wrong one? haha.. as long as you dun slander anybody, especially the A*Star Research Company's director, you should be okay lah.. even if you do, do it intelligently such that it kills without even drawing out your gun.. and that, ladies and gentlemen, is the highest level of writing..
haha.. good, we will be counting on you to give us more information and perhaps we can try to organise the outing.. i doubt that everyone will wanna go also, since theres not much reply from the group yet.. but i dun care. even if its just chay and me, i will still go.. hahaha!
and chay is right about the moth and bugs appearing now! nature is such a wonderful thing that it is so complicated yet beautiful.. in fact, chay is only half right about the mating season occuring now for the world of insects..
DO YOU KNOW THAT actually, the mating season of most bugs, which is about the period of May to July, is actually a conincidental by-product? It is.. If you take a look at the garden and parks, you will find that many trees and plants are actually at full bloom now, meaning pretty flowers are almost everywhere! It is due to this fact - the prescence of nectar in the flowers, that insects like butterflies, moths, bees etc. are able to find more food and provides them the chance of reproduction.
Without the blooming of the flowers, insects will not come in mass like this. However, like how nature is always inter-related in the ecosystem, without the insects the plants cannot flower also. This is related to plants reproduction, where insects are required to carry the pollen (the male reproductive organ of a plant), to the stigma (female reproductive organ of a plant) as they flutter along..
And so now you know, why the period of May to July, where insects flood the neighbourhood, is also the "season" for many fruit trees.. u need to flower, before you can have fruits mah.. Kai Hua Jie Guo.. So, rambutan, guava, durian, chiku and most tropical fruit trees, including Chay's favourite Mango, are "in sesason" between the period of May to July! haha.. Now, before Chay rushes off to wear his shoes in a hurry to go pluck some mango from Choa Chu Kang Park, i should also tell you that when fruits are in season, they are dirt-cheap in the market, not to mention that it is illegal to pluck from a public tree.. haha!
hmm.. but like what everyone is saying on the street.. "You can do whatever you want, but don't get caught!" haha.. when you go for driving test, and asked, "Can you park at a Double Yellow Line?" Try answering like this, "Yes, just that parking cost abit more. Instead of 50 cents, it may be $50." haha.. (which is quite true huh? haha!)
Well, but i do not know if humans are "aroused" at this period of the time or not.. hmm.. it doesn't seem to have any links to anything..
maybe, if i have to give a logical reason, it will be that between the period of May to July is also the hottest period of the year in Singapore.. When the weather is hot, people tend to wear lesser, and people find it hard to fall asleep at night also.. Combine these together, haha.. well, you get active and restless people who can't wait to peel off their clothes in bed!! hahaha! Logical?? hahaha.. because i sure don't think that flowers on trees can turn me on.. tsk tsk! haha..
haha.. somehow, i keep having a werid feeling inside me.. you know, something is telling me that the next time we can actually get a full attendace again for an outing, will most probably be at the wedding dinner of one of us.. coz everyone having busy life now.. those studying will be studying, those serving NS will be serving NS, (maybe even moonlighting also) and those working will be working.. haha.. me? i shall continue to serve in my NS, wait for my medical and hope for the best.. I can't wait to go for my pilot trainee course and get my Wings! - the ultimate pride and honour in the Singapore Armed Forces. and i can't help feeling happy that not only do i have you people to share the joy with, in the near future, very very very near future, i shall be able to share the glorious moment with the girl i love..wahahahaha!
