Tulips

feel kinda guilty. din really got the time to blog therefore can onli wish u now. erm, my frenz tink i am immunocompromise, which means that my immune system got sum part deficient. coz i got sick 2 times in 3 wks. i dunno y, mabbi i am juz SICKENING. exam are not here yet, but test will start nxt wk, tings here are kinda getting interesting den my 1st 2 yr in poly. In this module call Hybridoma technology, we get to culture skin cancer cells and feed, sing, sayang dem everydae. In this module call Agrotechnology, we get to grow xiao bai cai,small white veggie in hydroponic system n sayang dem everydae, i tink kss last time also always boost bout their hydroponic tingy.

but there are tuff time too, our prac usually last for 3 hrs, but in yr 1 and 2, most of dem dun take tat long. sumtime 2 hrs sumtime 2 n half hr. But 2dae it was cazi. this was onli the 1st wet prac in this module call immunology, got ppl cry already. tat kind of really got tears flowingfrom the eyes. mabbi juz wan to type more or wat, let me recall the incident this morning.

everyone reached at 8 to do prac, den i dunno wat happen to me, the VERY 1st step of the protocol, i SCREW it up le. coz we centrifuge this sheep red bld cells, den should throw awae the upper part(supernatant). i dunno wat was i tinking, i juz dip my micropipette in n start throwing awae the redbloodcell(RBC) part, which is the part we need! den my whole grp juz stare at me and finally sum1 open his mouth n ask me wat am i doing. they all tot i was possessed but wat done is done, so everyone started wif 10 ml of RBC but mine was 2.5ml. there was no more xtra sheep RBC.. so we juz carried on. poor sheep eh. den do do do, in the end my error won us the lead over the other grp, difficult to explain y we were faster, but it has to do wif the less cells involve. After we discovered my error has actually solve the most difficult part of the expt. coz everyone have to dilute their cells at this stage, but my cells are juz nice in tat concentration, everyone in my grp changed their expression n pat me in the back. u see, tings change when u contribute.

dodododo blah blah blah, and we finished! juz 2 mins b4 practical ends. 1st grp, den we lk around n see that all the other grp all have probs overcoming the concentration problem, and they are gonna miss their lunch break if it carry on, so our grp member dispatch ourself to go help the other grps overcome their prob. when i was helping, i saw tis classmate of mine started to cry, till nose super red, i tot she was feeling sorry for the sheep. but i found out itz juz that frastrating step she cant overcome for 1hr i guess. so in the end the prac took 3hr 45 mins, and everyone have to eat lunch for 15 mins.

hmm.. i tink my entry here abit boring eh. but my life is kinda boring

Tulips btw are a type of bulb flower, the bulbs are like onion bulb but they lk nicer. There all colour of tulips xpect BLUE. so if anione tell u tat he gave BLUE tulips to his gf, SMACK him in the face n screamm BULLSHIT in his face. fr our record not much ppl done plant tissue culture on tulip yet, the last yr in papers tat Queen of the Nite dark purple tulip fr SP was done wif hydroponics. so we are trying to find out the condition in plant tissue culture to 1st induce their roots formation, den support the growth of their vegetative shoot, den induce flowering. sounds easily but itz not, coz most of the attempt to culture tulips have been unsuccessful, not tat ani successful one tat we came across. so our grades generally is determine wheather they flower or not. Luckily we are in the good hands of our flowering expert lecturer, Dr sim. she was quite confident that she can induce flowering, as she is able to make a orchid flower in 3 wks which normally takes 1 yr. So lets all hope my flower bloom k..

tink tats about it. i dunno y, when i tok bout sch work, get kinda excited. call me nerd geek or wat. i'm use to it :D
