End Of Year BIG Event
Its about 2 more months to Chirstmas, and that means we should start planning our yearly chalet / gathering for the end of year fesitivity - like a high-key event in reservist.
Clearly remembered the rugged chalet last year, with people running home now and then (because its just so near our homes!), with Jian almost fainting upon discovering that the chalet ain't got no beds in them (not even one of those thin, flabby di lums), HJ getting drunk with modified Texas Hold'em and guarded the chalet (while sleeping) while the rest went to a relatively uneventful DXO, except that M.Jay got caught for stealing a sip out of Yin's vodka ribena and had to pay $30 for that really-just-ribena sip ($%^#$%%!). Also, who can forget the out-of-this-world gift exchange in the lucky draw cum quiz fashion (planned by yours truly), and the middle of the night, lay by the camp-fire (candle fire actually) and chit chat session.
Everyone had a special moment, everyone remembered something funny - like how I remembered myself gradually "taking over" someone's sleeping bag and left her shivering in the cold for the night. (Sorry, Mui.)
2 months. Just about the right time to plan something. So, do we want a chalet, overseas trip or something else? I think a chalet will be a good idea - we can have good gang fun most of the time and bring in guests on BBQ night for additional manpower, meaning more fun and laughter. I don't mind doing the things but I need the feedback before I can start on anything. So, let's hear some comments on the chatbox. And also, this is also an advice not to plan overseas trip during the X'mas period on your own. The end of year thing is a tradition of this gang, so let's keep it as much as we can. Haha.. And Mui, just in case we have a chalet this year, remind me to bring my sleeping bag... I promise I won't steal yours... Keke..
As for Peg, well... You probably be having a white x'mas, with steamy exhalation, cackling fireplace and little coniferous plants as decorations... But you will confirm miss seeing your friends get crazy with whiskey and vodkas, and doing all the crazy things we usually do... Tell you what, maybe you can just pon one week of school there and come back for gathering... We won't tell anyone... Anything, Rong will settle for you. Haha..

Ladies and gentlemen, monkeys and elephants, it has been a long long while since something decent was posted. Are you guys all still alive? Have you all been meeting up? I want to go KTV so bad.
I know, at the back of your minds, you must be thinking "this stupid Peg, go exchange so relax of course damn free to say such things lah. She doesn't know how much work we have to do in school/at work and how stressed we are over school and blah."
But you know, it would be nice to read something from this blog. Especially something warm and oozy from home on a cold day (which most days are now). It helps you unwind and destress as well.
Its getting on the verge of trying too hard. I'm off. Hopefully when I get back, this gang still exists.

Time To Go Garang!
Hey people... 22 Sept marks the start of the Recess Week for the NTU boys. We should plan some high key events on one of the days in that week - i.e. Night Cycling*, Beach Trip, Chalet (tough), BBQ or even a Day Cycling*. Erm, Taboo and KTV are not considered really high key events, so I think we can do that some other time on weekends. Holidays are meant for garang things! Haha!
Since we have working class among us, I suggest Fridays and Saturdays - which means probably start of the week or end of the week. I am personally for start of the week, meaning 19 Sept, 20 Sept, 21 Sept. Let's hear some comments on the tag board.
* - Cycling does not remain confined to the ECP only. I am refering to cycle to places around Singapore that kind. So a certain level of fitness is advisable.

To The Beach

Anyway, should be plan a next outing? Is there a long weekend coming up soon? Very long never go beach already... Lets have a beach outing next! Jian and I actually wanted this outing to be at Sentosa very much - but we didn't want to spoil the plan. Hmm.. I shall go lookout for ideal date, and inform you people again. So, watch this space as often as you can...

Hello my dear friends,
I had a lot of fun yesterday. Thanks for everything, the company, the songs, the games, the laughter, and the presents :)
FYI, I am bringing the ginseng along but I don't think I will use it. Will just put it on display and smell it when I miss home. Hah. And the bag will be left at home too cos that will come in handy for work, which I wouldn't be doing there. Then, the pretty purple box will be left at home but I am bringing the contents along. Cos the box takes up quite a bit of space. My luggage is quite scary ahh.
I know you all will miss me!! But I will be online. We can webcam on MSN or skype (: Add me on skype using my hotmail okok??? And do drop me an email once in a while. I don't know what the rates are like for international call. So I might or might not call back. I will try to blog and update about all my trips, my school, the people, my apartment and what-not as much as possible on my blog. So stay tuned to my new blog. :)

Gathering
Hello guys~! I guess everyone should more or less know that our Miss Piggy Peg will be flying off to Canada soon.
So yeah, maybe we should have a gathering before that? Lol. I heard Jian suggesting on Facebook about one Sentosa trip before Peg leaves? Anyway, I have a few options in mind for you guys to choose.
*Choose the date first
Date: 9th Aug 2008 ( Saturday ) OR 26th Jul 2008 ( Saturday )
Time: May last up to one whole day
Because some of us might be involved in NDP, so i guess i should choose another date for safe. And the reason why i skipped 2nd Aug is because i know 5 peepz of the gang will be at Genting by this time~! So we're left with 2 options. Anyway, Peg is flying on the 11th Aug.
*Everyone to choose at least 2 options.
1) East Coast Trip during daytime (Cycle or blade), hopefully everyone can reach in time. Lol. Tea Party at night.
2) Sentosa during daytime. Tea Party at night.
3) East Coast Trip during daytime. Steamboat at night.
4) Sentosa during daytime. Steamboat at night.
If you guys want some indoor activities.....
5) KTV in the afternoon. Buffet/Steamboat at night.

While the Americans' Independence Day has nothing to do with us, majority of the gang happened to vote Friday over Saturday for our outing.

Chevrons Again?

Well, can make this the "official" farewell party for Peg before she goes overseas for a couple of months, as well as making this a replacement plan for the Sentosa. Why now, when she is only leaving in... erm, August?
Come August, most of us will be busy again as school will be starting. Peggen, who has tonnes of friends to entertain, may need to start ration-ing her time with Chan Howe and her family, and her other friends out there. If we can gather for another one just before she leaves, that will be good, but I think that this period of time might be a little more feasible for most of us.
Sentosa proposal didn't get a good response, so hopefully this night programme might get more attendace. So, in summary:
Saturday, 7 June, 2000H onwards.
Peggen, especially, shall not drive. (Grin)
How? Need MCQ?
Option 1: I can make it at 8pm.
Option 2: I can make it, but will arrive later.
Option 3: No, I can't make it and I don't give a damn.

Jonathan said he organising beach outing this weekend. I don't know whether on or not, because he haven't say anything yet ar...
Just in case he comes up with it last minute, I suggest keeping the weekends day time free if you can. Or better still, if we can take the initiative to tell him when we are available. Easier for him to plan that way...

Haha yeah mak, you're going crazy. Nevertheless, i think your idea sounds great. LOL. Free massage and porters are not enough. I think you should adjust the picture below and maybe put 4 figures sitting under the tree resting while the others do the work like setting up the tent or bbq-ing and stuffs. The four obviously would be mak, peg, yin and lun. LOL LOL LOL~~~

Going Mad
The outing last night was good. Had fun and really enjoyed myself with the singings and especially the talk cock session cum supper after the singing... We should have more of such things when we can...
Thanks Yin for organising, and trying to accomodate to the various demands and requirements from the group.
Its really hard to organise something nowadays, with every so busy. Maybe, next time someone organises something sucessfully, we should give a certificate of appreciation or maybe, a Bachelor in Organising Gang's Recreation & Entertainment (OGRE). Rightfully named, because sometimes the organiser must really be such an orge, in order to get positive responses. If I got free time, I go design the certificate. Then, for everyone then participates in the activity, you get some "points". When you accumalate enough points, you can exchange the points for rewards - like free massages, free porter for your baggage/backpacks/handbags on outings etc...

Hey guys~! Very sad that only me, Mui, Mak and Jian can make it for Sentosa tomorrow. So after a short discussion with Mak, we decided to postpone this Sentosa Outing to this coming Sunday~! Anyone?
Btw, the reason why i chose to call you guys with my office phone instead of sms-ing is because i had forgotten to bring my HP out. So, forget about sms-ing or calling my hp now until 7pm when i will reach home and check my phone. (Sorry rong, i didn't know you are still sleeping at the time of 10.50am.) LOL.
As for tomorrow, we'll only be going Chevrons i guess. And if anyone's reading this, pls kindly get someone to call and make a booking? (preferably 7pm-11pm or 8pm-12pm) I'm really confused about the person who always make the booking for us. Haha.
