Mak's Okay.. Thanks.

Hello to all..

First things first, haha.. Mak is feeling quite alright now, as compared to the last few days.. the reason is that i haven't been scolded since Tuesday! haha.. and that is an accomplishment here, seeing many of my coursemates suffer the chewing for the past few days and me just relaxing.. haha.. the reason why i did not get chewed was simply because i did not flew since Tuesday.. Was actually supposed to go for Lesson 4 yesterday, but it was cancelled due to bad weather, and so, THANKFULLY, i survive another day without scoldings..

talking about the weather, i wanna let you guys know that summer here in Tamworth is totally screwed up.. its not the kind of summer you see in the movies, where its bright and sunny everywhere, every minute.. Down here, it can be pretty sunny and hot, but suddenly, the sky can be overcast and a thunderstorm can start pouring down on ya.. Sometimes, it can also be so windy that the wind can reach 20knots or even gusting at 35 knots! (haha, i know bcoz a pilot has to learn about the weather.. ) For the past few days, there have been thunderstorms at night, making it tremendously cold to sleep in.. Gosh, the weather is simply almost like Singapore..

By the way, i wanna thank all the people who consoled me, be it through SMS or here at this site... im feeling okay, not as motivated as like before i came here, but still, better than 3 days ago.. at least i manage to tell myself to just try my best.. if i pass, i won't be too happy.. if i fail, i won't be too sad.. haha.. confusing? yar, even i am confused too.. i don't really know how much i want this job now.. saying i don't wanna fly a Fighter or a Chopper would be lying.. but i won't be willing to die for this career now.. (I did, in the past!) So, i am really confused.. In the end, i think i will just wait and see how my test 1 will be.. and plan on from there.. haha..

Going commercial is another problem.. i sat down and thought through that option again yesterday, and i realise its another big big gamble.. you see, what i heard is that, SIA pilot training takes 3 years to complete.. after which you need to be a Co-Pilot for another 5 years.. then you will become a full fledge pilot that will be starting at the lowest rank.. Pilot trainee gets a pay of about $900 a month, which means i can be prepared to eat bread for three years.. (how the hell to support a family with $900??) then co-pilot, i am guessing that its around $1500? which is also pathetic.. and then, my friend came around and told me that SIA pays the louiest in the industry, but we have no choice because firstly, we don't have a Union that works.. and secondly, big companies like Emirate, Qantas and so on, will not take foreign pilot trainees..if they do, they will only take experienced and trained ones.. tsk tsk.. (*)

anyway, like i said, i will just do my best and see how test 1 goes.. by the way, the reason why i am here on a Saturday afternoon is because we were confined.. Sure you all know about the sensitive issue that is going on now between us and this place.. The news have it that the major cities here are really upset about it, especially on Friday.. And for our own safety, we have gotta be kept at home..

well, i simply believe that Guo You Guo Fa, Jia You Jia Gui.. He who breaks a law, breaks his neck.. (haha, i made that up.. not bad huh?) I guess is a culture difference between the two countries that cause this issue now.. lets hope it die down soon and both leaders of the countries can understand each other..

(*) - the statement is made from my own understanding from hear-say, and is not depicted as a fact or a claim made to sound offensive or de-meaning to anyone or organisation.

haha, i must put that up, in case i get charged for something.. Think you would have heard of the few people whose blogs got read by "the invisible force".. these kind of things come down on especially easy on people who wear uniforms.. haha.. gotta be careful and responsible for what you say..

freedom of speech? yes, of course.. Speak all you like, but be responsible for it..

tsk tsk..

i miss home and I REALLY REALLY miss Sheh Shi Man alot alot..

haiiizzz...
