Yo Yoz.. Whats Up, mate?!?

Yo Yo.. Me Mak the Man is here again..

and whats up, mates? why only 2 blogs in 2 days? its improving but i hope to see more leh, especially during the weekends when everybody should be more free than usual.. or is everyone else sick of this blog thingy already? hahaha...

well, guess what.. today, the tigress had let up abit.. They had decided to let us off today to visit the town in exchange for some fatigue work tomorrow! that sounds really great to us coz at least then we will have a chance to see whats the town like! by the way, fatigue work in the SAF means to do weird weird work that makes you tired-but-not-that-tired, pissed-but-not-that-pissed kinda work.. like shifting some furnitures around, clean up the area, type some documents and stuff like that...

yeah, so Tamworth is really a super small town.. or should i say, "SHORT" town as well.. basically, the entire town is like our Orchard Road, built on the two sides of a road lined up with rows of shops, cafes, restaurant, CHINESE restaurant, pet shops, a cinema, fast food restaurants as well... the town is about 3 quarter Orchard Road in length, and average about 1 eighteenth in height.. hahaha.. the tallest building in the town is only 4 stories high, and is low 4 stories, not the Cineleisure kind of 4 stories.. hahaha..

clothes are okaily cheap (whoa, i don't think okaily exist but it sounds good eh? i hereby coin the term OKAILY, adjective, to describe something mildly, intermediately..) like one decent looking shirt can cause between $15 - $25.. jeans can cost about $25 and above.. a branded Addidas jersey for their All Blacks rugby team cost $80, which i bought for my dad.. yeah, but being Mak, you know that i don't give a turd about shopping for clothes.. i ended up buying one sleeveless, and one tee, plus that one jersey, after an entire day of shopping..

hell yeah stupid, but with limited funds, as well as no passion for it, i guess i was exploring the town more than shopping around..

lets not talk about the Ang Mohs Restaurants, coz i have that kind of food at the camp everyday.. we had lunch at a Chinese Restaurant called Wing Wah Restaurant.. Quite uncool name, but damn good food.. the prawns, which australians at my camp somehow don't really like to cook, were damn fresh and delicious! i think the boss and chefs are from Hong Kong, coz they spoke cantonese and just had the Hiong Gong accent.. after having a Honey King Prawn Fried Rice, i realise that i really miss Singapore.. for the food, and for the food that will only cost $4.50 back home.. it cost about $7.50 here.. but i am not complaining, coz at least they have it here.. and this is just another law of supply and demand playing the invisible force in the market.. how cool is my Econs huh? hahaha..

pet shop.. this pet shop that sold birds, fish, rabbits, guinea pigs and.. most importantly, 7 damn damn DAMN lovely puppies! whoa! when i first saw them, they were sleeping.. so lazily, so innocently.. one in a "Si Jiao Cao Tian" position, one in a "Roasted Pig for Praying" position, one in a "Head on left arm with ears over eyes" position.. whoa!!! immediately, i dropped all the image a pilot should have.. embarrased and as much as i hate to admit it, damn, i can't help it but to drop down to the cage, squeal in delight and go, "Holy shit, soooooooooooooo cute!"

i played with them with my fingers, and i simply enjoyed them chewing it, then pawing at it clumpsily, their tails thudding on the glass cage violently.. believe me, they were all beautiful! when i had to leave, they just seem to be telling me to take them with me.. they whinned, they clawed at the glass, and for a moment, i thought i saw some wetness in their eyes.. and maybe in mine too..

haiiiizzz...

for $297 per pup, plus the fact that i don't think they are eligible for a air ticket.. its quite impossible for me to bring it home.. i just pray to God, whichever God up there (though i seriously think that all the Gods of all religion are all good friends up there, clubbing everynight together... well, maybe not the clubbing part.. hahaha..) i was saying, i just pray that they will all find a good home, live well, and be a good dog, and contribute to the society when they grow up.. and if i were hell ya damn rich, i had buy every pet shop in the world and give homes to the animals i can..

there is only one sad cinema.. we din catch a movie, but only because nobody seem to be catching a movie.. the cinema looked deserted and empty.. well, maybe we will go check it out next week.. and although Tamworth time is faster than Singapore, the movie abit lag here.. hahaha.. Corpse Bride, Into The Blue, 4 Brothers... yeah, u know what im talking about...

saw a KFC, MacDonald's and a Burger King (which they call Hungry Jack here).. but i din go and check them out coz they are still labeled under Western food to me..

buying groceries and daily necessities here are hell chores.. coz things are pretty expensive, and their malls aren't as organised as NTUC at home.. Here, its like you have to go through a briefing of the map for the mall before you go in, and you gotta get a license for a trolley coz the traffic inside is worse than Thailand.. Roads are narrow, cars are plentiful.. whoa.. like going to war like that.. do groceries will sweat one.. hahaha...

The day time is getting warmer now, like Peg said.. but the night time is still damn cold.. i am starting to hate the feeling of waking up with my palms and feet freezing.. i really hate that.. and my buddies are laughing at me.. well.. ermm.. because of my frankness.. haha..

when they said how great it would be if they could wake up feeling warm with a beautiful girl in their arms, all wrapped up in the blanket together, i tried to act smart and said,

"I rather it be my dog."

and that, almost killed them.. coz they knocked into each other so hard, and some into the wall, when they rolled on the ground laughing..

yeah, and i was stunned when Peggen said she visited my dog!! not because i doubted her to do it.. but more because i din believe my dog left her an arm to type on the computer.. hahaha.. seriously, i think my dog would have chewed you upside down, inside out if you go in without me.. haha..

anyway, i hope things are going well for everyone.. especially people with exams coming along.. people who are working... people on SAF exercise.. people training in the nation's most elite Navy department.. people in NS.. people studying.. just hope everything is going on well for ya at home..

i miss home, so much..

haha..

regards,
mak

p/s: Paging for anyone with supernatural powers with the ability to influence or inflict action onto people's mind... please, help me make Charmaine Sheh visit Tamworth, or make her SMS me at once! i am still reachable via my handphone.. don't ask her to call me, coz i can't bring my phone with me during office hours.. (means 7am to 7pm my time, and 4am to 4pm your time) hahaha..

p/s 2: Don't know why.. nowadays i always have people calling me Andy.. When i don't respond to it, they shout "Oei, LAU!" and coz i still don't know who they calling, they continue to stare at me and scream "DE HUA! COME HERE!" hmm.. time to tell them what my name is liao.. but my guess is these Aussies can't really tell that im not Andy Lau..

hahahaha...
